The Cyrus Cylinder is an ancient Parisian clay cylinder, was represented as the world’ first charter of human rights. It is written in Akhadian cuneiform script in 539BC by Cyrus of his conquest of Babylon and his order human treatment of his conquered subjects. In 1987, it was discovered by the Assyrian archaeologist Hormuz Rassam in his excavation at the Babylon. Now, it is kept in British Museum because they discovered the cylinder. In 1971, the United Nations was translated it to 6 official U.N. languages.
